Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: February 20, 2026 · Last Updated: February 20, 2026
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Egmer Marketing is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe the web should be inclusive, and we strive to provide a website experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and hold ourselves to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard.
Standards We Follow
Our website is designed and developed with reference to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. These guidelines are organized around four principles:
- Perceivable: Information and user interface components are presented in ways users can perceive (text alternatives, captions, adaptable content, distinguishable contrast).
- Operable: User interface components and navigation are operable (keyboard accessible, sufficient time, no seizure-inducing content, navigable structure).
- Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface are understandable (readable, predictable, input assistance).
- Robust: Content is robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
We build our website using semantic HTML, proper ARIA attributes, keyboard-navigable interfaces, sufficient color contrast ratios, and meaningful alternative text for images.
Ongoing Effort
We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time achievement. We regularly:
- Review our website against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria
- Test with keyboard navigation and screen reader technologies
- Use automated accessibility evaluation tools to identify and address issues
- Incorporate accessibility best practices into our design and development process
While we strive to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, we acknowledge that accessibility is an evolving practice and that some areas of our website may not yet fully meet every guideline. We are continually working to improve.
Accessibility in Our Client Work
As a web design and marketing agency, we build client websites with accessibility as a core consideration. Our development practices include:
- Semantic HTML structure and proper heading hierarchy
- Keyboard navigation support throughout all interactive elements
- ARIA labels and roles where appropriate
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
- Alternative text for all meaningful images
- Form labels and error handling for assistive technology users
- Responsive design that works across devices and zoom levels
We build with reference to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Our services include accessibility-informed design and development, but do not constitute legal advice, a legal audit, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, Section 504, or any other federal, state, or local accessibility law. Clients are responsible for their own legal compliance obligations.
